FUTURAMA SMI Lª., founded in 1985 with license AMI 280, became a member of APEMI – the Portuguese Association of Real Estate Brokers in 1987. After the merger with AMIP in 2004, the organization changed its acronym to APEMIP, maintaining the entire structure of APEMI, which had been founded in 1978. He served on its governing bodies from 1991 to 2006: seven years as Vice-President of the National Board (Administrative-Financial and Regional Delegations), four years as President of the National Board, and two years as President of the General Assembly. Later, in 2003/2004, he again served on the National Board as Administrative-Financial Vice-President, and between 2005/2006 he was President of the Regional Board of Lisbon and the Tagus Valley. In 1994, he was awarded the title of Honorary Member No. 1 in recognition of his services to the real estate brokerage sector. He was also the founder and Chairman of the Board of the official APEMI newspaper – Mercado Imobiliário, from its creation until June 2004. He also served as a non-executive board member of the real estate network Comprar-Casa (UCI–Paribas–Santander Group).

FUTURAMA was one of ten real estate brokerage firms invited by EXPO URBE (Expo 98), through ACELIS – the Complementary Grouping of Lisbon Companies – to handle the sale of land intended for residential construction. The company carried out this task with great success, efficiency, and professionalism, earning formal recognition from the organization’s administration.

In 2020, he was awarded the Real Estate Personality of the Year prize by Magazine Imobiliário.

A strong advocate for the profession, he joined ASMIP – the Association of Real Estate Brokers of Portugal in 2014. He served within its governing bodies as President of the Fiscal Council and later as Vice-President of the National Board for the Lisbon and Tagus Valley delegation until 2022.

By invitation, he returned to APEMIP’s governing bodies as President of the Fiscal Council from 2023 to 2025, and the work of this body was praised by the President of the APEMIP Board for its rigor, impartiality, and dedication to its duties.

Throughout his involvement with these associations, he participated in working groups that proposed legislative changes to the Portuguese government concerning the regulation of real estate brokerage activities, as well as their statutes and codes of ethics.

• Renovation – we monitor property renovation works (free estimates);
   
• Rental management – we take care of the tedious part of contacting tenants, issuing receipts, collecting rent, depositing money into landlords' bank accounts, paying taxes, increasing rents, monitoring renovations and repairs, etc.
